S.107 CL - Quarter Finals Preview (10/11/2013 14:18)

Welcome to DJ Blog CL QF cover. In just 12 hours we will know who are the 4 teams that will battle for 2 tickets to the grand Final on Thursday.
Before the matches I will give a preview about what awaits the teams before their mathces:

Champion FC - FC Real Manager

The Romanian Cup holders might be favourite on paper but it's the Australian Champions who got an easier life before the match as they faced West Coast Dinosaurs and won 4-0. Given the Q of the opponents (89.55) it wasn't a surprise that Bullie saved some of his star players.
Real Manager faced a bottom side too but in the Romanian league you can't underestimate any rival. Real Manager defeated Rapid Giulesti away but the lack of depth in his squad cost him as his top midfielder David Silva was badly injured and probably finished the season as his fit is down to 54. This is a great advantage for Champion FC.

Players to watch:

Champion FC
Jarle Takle - Only 25yr, the Norwegian is one of most talented players in ML. He played all the team's matches on CL and he's the main reason why they made it that far! In 8 games he put an incredible perfomance of rating 89! He is the man that can change the outcome.
Michael Essien - Missing only 1 match in CL, the 30yr Ghanaian is giving more in CL then in the league. With a rating of 83 and also 1 goal under his name, Real's defenders will work hard to stop him.
Cameron Riddle - The Australian scoring machine, who grew up at the club's academy, have already scored 6 goals for his team in CL and put a rating of 78. He hopes he can stretch that number further more.

FC Real Manager
Vincent Kompany and Raphaël Varane are great rocks at the back. Both with rating of 68 they will be hard to pass.
Franck Ribéry - a regular lineup player, put an 85 rating perfomance so far and scored 1 goal. I bet this one is a headache for Bullie!
Mario Götze - another dangerous midfielder, with an 82 rating and 3 CL goals on his name, be sure to see him take some shots!
Neymar da Silva and Lionel Messi - the nightmare of every opponent defence. These amazing strikers put an avg rating of 77 and scored 16 goals together only in the CL! I won't be surprised if they will decide the result tomorrow.

CzarneKoszule - Lions of Darkness

The Polish Cup holders are having a wonderful season so far, hadn't lost a single match so far, and they're second in their national league. However  ny1900 had to play his best lineup as his team played against 3rd place WKS Slask (95.55). The rotation in the match was good and the players played beautifuly outpowering their rivals 1-3 with no injuries and very little lose in fitness. ny1990 is sure happy to come to the tough match against the English like this.
Dunclido, manager of Lions of Darkness, didn't took a win in the league for granted. His team played Safranek FC (95.09) and Dunclido sent his best lineup for the job and they emerged winners 2-0 and have a fully fit team for the QF.

Players to watch:

CzarneKoszule
Judge Dredd - The 31yr Georgian keeper is giving one of his best season on CL. He conceded so far only 4 goals, and ny1900 is counting on him to keep the net clean.
Iker Blanco - The talented Spanish is not at his best season but he's still one of the most important players in CzarneKoszule, with an avg perfomance of 78 on CL.
Redman - Scored 6 goals on CL and put a rating of 75, the New-Zealand striker is hungry to score against the English too.

Lions of Darkness
Martyn Woolford - Believe it or not, this is only the third season for the veteran English. Played twice before with Baronie, this is the first time he made it to the Knockout Stage. Played in every match, has a rating of 85 and 1 goal under his name.
Tim Cahill - Grew up in the club, he's a result of wonderful training by Dunclido. Played all but one match on CL, put a rating of 88 and scored 2 goals. He has the ability to change a game.
John Marquis - He's not a goalscorer, but he is a great forward. Have put a rating of 75 in his 6 matches on CL, don't be surprised if he creates a scoring chance for others.

Craiova-Maxima - FratiFrancescani

The American Champions could not rest any player as they faced Brad G Strikers (95.18) eariler winning 2-4 away, keeping them only 1 points from the leaders. No player was injured though and they come to the match with a fit team and a positive momentum.
Things have gone easier for the Italians, as Sastianello gave rest for some of his top player on their match against Novara Calcio (94.09) and won 1-3. FratiFrancescani (FF) come with a fully fit team and a 6-games win strike both on League and CL.

Players to watch:

Craiova-Maxima
Vanco Jordanoski - Ruling out the crazy 4-5 lose to Uniqe on the Group Stage, the 27yr Macedonian keeper conceded only 2 goals. If he continue to show his top form today, it's hard to see how FF can score.
Adrian Popescu and Nicolae Tilihoi - Both defenders grew in BYM FC, both moved to Craiova, both played all of their club matches on CL, both even scored 2 goal this season (on CL). Only their rating is different 67 vs 71 but both very high. FF should worry not only because of their defending skills but also of their scoring.
Dănuţ Bica - With a a rating of 82 and an avg of 1.25 goals in 2 matches, FF defenders will need to watch him closely.
Aurică Beldeanu - One of the symbols of the team, put an avg of 89 on his CL matches and is ready to keep his form and send alone his team to the SF.
Sorin Cartu - scored 10 goals on CL and hungry for more.

Sorry guys, I have a lecture to attend, won't finish the preview before the matches sorry :(

Only one comment. The MLCL matches are played after training and before the league match so players are usually 100 fit.

Otherwise great stuff.

Yeah I know but still there is a possibility of injuries and that's what I meant :)

Plus they might play too much friendlies or forgot to rest. Moreover I said maybe and I intended to make another preview before the matches ;)
