It's been 6 years to remember... (16/09/2011 02:30) |
Yesterday, on September 15th, ManagerLeague officially turned 6 years old. Yaay! On that date, in 2005, we declared that the Beta was over and done with, and started the real game. It was quite different from now, of course, but the core of the game remains the same, as is only natural. I came across this on my harddrive, in regards to the launch-date: At the same time, the following image was removed from the frontpage: Since I was walking down Memory Lane anyway, I'll throw in some more old stuff. Some are unused old designs, some are from the beta and some are used and still old. Enjoy! Back in the olden days, what you today see as the "portal" was called GooseGames, and was meant to be a more general game-portal, with lots of flash-games, diary, guestbook, jokes etc. A lot has changed since then (-: Then we ran for a while with a blue and white design: Some missing pictures there, but that can't be helped. We were testing different designs on ManagerLeague also, like this one: And Scary, huh? (-: The game existed for quite some time like this though: The player-details window looked like this: Hey, who said I needed a designer! Looked brillient, didn't it! I could even make new logos on demand, even animated ones! Then of course, after a quick stop at a white and blue ingame design, I came up with one design that stuck for a few years: Ahh, feels like yesterday...As in "tastes like yesterdays cheese"... And then, we welcomed Coach Mac into ML Headquarters...And a year later...Well, we all know the rest.... And finally, the much improved match-report...ahhh...How refreshing it was! Apparently, he designes a lot better than he plays (-: So, that's it really, happy birthday ManagerLeague, and may the next 6 years be even better than the first! - Spinner, proud developer
