1: Keyboard shortcut to send message / post reply on the forums
On a windows-computer, CTRL+ENTER will send / post the message / reply so you don't need to use the mouse.
2: ALT-clicking on teams or players to avoid multiple popups
If you hold the ALT-key when you click on a team- or player-link in the game, it will close other popups, keeping your popup-count at one.
3: SHIFT-clicking on teams or players to open external popup windows
If you hold the SHIFT-key when you click on a team- or player-link in the game, it will open a regular external popup rather than the ingame popup.
4: Keyboard navigation in your messages
If you select a message in your inbox, you can use your arrow-keys to go up or down in the list, selecting the next or previous message.
You can also use the Delete-button on your keyboard (DEL) to delete the selected message.
5: Mentions
If you type "/mentions" in the chat-input and hit enter, you will see a popup with any text containing your name from all chat-channels.
6: Your team in a spreadsheet?
If you type "/copyteam" in the chat-input, and hit enter, a snapshot of your players is copied to your clipboard so you can easily paste it right into a spreadsheet like Excel or Google Sheets.
7: Player search sorting on multiple values
You can apply more than 1 sorting-criteria by clicking on multiple headers in the search-result, just keep the order in mind. The last header clicked has the highest priority.
For instance, if you want the search-result to be sorted by quality, then perception, then tackling (with "least on top"), you can click the headers like this:
Tackling, Tackling, Perception, Quality.
8: The chat timestamp
You can hover your mouse over the chat-timestamp to see how long ago it was written, in case it is like a full day ago or more.
9: Stat-deleetcodeions / explanations
You can hover your mouse over the stat-headings in Team Setup to see more in-depth explanations of the stats and what they mean.
10: Random list shuffle draw
The chat has a built-in function for either giving you a random draw, which is sometimes needed for various reasons.
By typing in "/random 1 10" in the chat-input, and hitting enter, the input field will contain a list with the numbers from 1 to 10 in a random order! |
